Sunscreen, towels and exact change – that’s all it takes!
Plan a trip to the Thorold Community Pool. Public swimming is the best way to beat the heat. Opening at 12:30 p.m. most days, the pool is located at 111 Richmond St.
Admission is still only $1.25/child and $2.50/adult. The counter has limited change so your assistance is greatly appreciated.
Residents can also purchase a pool pass in person at City Hall at 3540 Schmon Parkway.
Adult, Senior and Aquafit times are also available – for more information, including registration for swim lessons, see City or Thorold schedule.
The 25-metre pool includes a sloped beach entry, spiral slide, diving board and splash pad.
The Thorold Community Activities Group also makes good use of the pool as part of their TCAG Summer Camp program.
Here’s a great tip
Henderson’s Pharmacy has free passes for everyone! Stop in before heading for the pool.
