Climb the Niagara Escarpment

While walking, cycling or rollerblading up the Welland Canal Parkway Trail, you will do so on the Niagara Escarpment – a United Nations Biosphere Reserve. The ridge cuts across the Niagara Peninsula, creating a micro-climate unique in North America. The steep escarpment is habitat to native species and features distinctive landforms. The Bruce Trail links parks and spaces of the Niagara Escarpment for visitors to enjoy its ecological and historical heritage. For more information, visit http://brucetrail.org
